- Part-time builder : Reconstruction of a slate roof (6/1994 to 12/1994)
- Research Assistant : Implementation of the ARC System on-line for the NRA (1/1995 - 4/1996)
- Part-time builder : Reconstruction of a loft and ceiling
- Research Assistant : Traffic research using the FLEXSYT-II traffic signal control language. (10/1996 - 3/1997)
- Research Assistant : Further research on spatio-temporal issues including the radar calibration problem. (4/1997 to 3/1999)
